ABOUT US
PEC Connect brings together the people, places, and services that make The County special. Whether you’re here for a weekend or for the long haul, we’re here to help you find what you need. Simple, local, and made to be actually useful, for locals and visitors alike.
Welcome... we're so glad you're here!
Our Story
THE COUNTY...
...is full of people who know where to go, who to call, and how things really work; but that knowledge is often shared casually, in passing, or over social media groups. PEC Connect grew from the idea that local knowledge shouldn’t feel hidden or hard to access, and because sharing is caring, we're simplifying the scavenger hunt for locals looking to enjoy living in PEC.
AT THE SAME TIME...
...people visit the County looking to make memories with recommendations they can trust and experiences that feel authentic. PEC Connect brings those pieces together in one place, so locals can share what they know (and find what they need!), and visitors can feel welcomed, informed, and confident finding their way around the picturesque peninsula of Prince Edward County.
Our Story
Mission and Values
OUR MISSION
PEC Connect exists to make local information easier to find, easier to trust, and easier to share. By bringing together people, places, and services across Prince Edward County, we help locals and visitors alike feel more connected and confident navigating the area.
OUR VALUES
We believe that good information should be clear, honest, and genuinely helpful. We value community knowledge and sharing it openly. We prioritize usefulness over polish and people over process. And above all, we aim to build something that feels curated by all, for all.
Mission & Values
From our founder
PEC Connect...
...grew out of everyday conversations: questions asked, recommendations shared, and the kind of local knowledge that usually lives in someone’s experience. The County has a strong sense of community, but our local communication and information doesn’t always travel evenly. I wanted to build a space where those connections could live openly and be useful to more people. Something practical, honest, and easy to come back to.
Whether you’re running a business, visiting for the first time, or settling in more permanently, my hope is that PEC Connect feels approachable and helpful. This isn’t about perfection or polish. It’s about clarity, trust, and making Prince Edward County easier to navigate for everyone. If it feels like a resource you’d recommend to a friend, then it’s exactly what I hoped it would be. Welcome.
