From local markets and live music to community festivals and family-friendly activities, this month offers a mix of events that bring both residents and visitors together.
We’ve gathered a curated list of what’s happening throughout June to help you make the most of the season. Whether you’re looking for something relaxed, something lively, or just a reason to get out and explore, there’s plenty to discover. Here’s your guide to what’s on in the County this June.
The County Comedy Project

Date(s): Workshops: April 30–June 18, 2026 (Thursdays, 7:00 PM–9:00 PM); Final Performance: June 25, 2026

Tickets: Registration: $200 plus HST and fees (limited to 20 participants); reserve here
Description: The County Comedy Project is an 8-week live comedy boot camp led by the County comedy duo Short Attention Spa. Designed for beginners and aspiring performers, the program explores stand-up comedy, sketch comedy, and improvisation through practical exercises, collaborative workshops, and hands-on coaching. Participants will develop writing, performance, and public speaking skills while working toward a live comedy showcase at the end of the program. The welcoming environment encourages creativity, confidence-building, and community connection.
Wellington Community Market – Saturday Market
Date(s): Saturdays, May 16–October 17, 2026, from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Location: Wellington United Church Parking Lot, 243 Main Street, Wellington, Ontario

Description: The Wellington Community Market is a not-for-profit outdoor market featuring a diverse selection of locally produced food, handmade goods, and artisan products. Operating throughout the summer and fall season, the market brings together local vendors and community members while supporting charitable organizations and food programs in the County. Visitors can browse fresh produce, baked goods, crafts, and other unique offerings in a welcoming community atmosphere.
The Eddie Farm Market
Date(s): Saturdays, 9:00 AM–1:30 PM, through Thanksgiving Weekend 2026
Location: The Eddie Hotel and Farm, 15786 Loyalist Parkway, Bloomfield, Ontario

Description: The Eddie Farm Market is a weekly farmers' market featuring dozens of local vendors offering fresh produce, artisan goods, specialty foods, and handcrafted products. Visitors can shop from local favourites including Nellie's Cheese and Party Shop, Edwin County Farms' vegetable stand, and a variety of other producers and makers. Conveniently located between Bloomfield and Wellington, the market provides a vibrant community gathering place throughout the growing season.
Larry Tayler: Summer 2026 Writer-In-Residence
Date(s): Thursdays, June 4–July 23, 2026, from 1:00 PM–4:00 PM

Description: Picton author Larry Tayler returns as Writer-In-Residence at Macaulay House for the summer of 2026. Visitors are invited to meet the writer as he works on Queer Grace, his first gay romance novel set in Picton. Aspiring writers and literary enthusiasts are encouraged to stop by, discuss writing, or bring along their own projects to work on in the historic setting of Macaulay House. Self-guided tour information for the heritage site is also available.
West Lake Artisan Show & Sale

Date(s): July 4, 2026, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
Location: Sandbanks Community Church, 1901 County Road 12, PEC, Ontario

Description: The West Lake Community Association hosts its Annual Artisan Show & Sale featuring local makers and artisans from the community. Visitors can browse vendor booths both indoors and outdoors, participate in a silent auction, and purchase tickets for a 50/50 draw. The event runs rain or shine and offers a relaxed, family-friendly opportunity to support local creativity and craftsmanship.

PECFHS | Health & Human Performance for Everyday Life

Description: Presented by The Gym in the Armoury, the Prince Edward County Fitness and Health Summit (PECFHS) brings together fitness and health professionals to share practical, evidence-based strategies for improving everyday health and performance. This community-focused event features expert insights on fitness, wellness, and healthy living, providing attendees with actionable knowledge they can apply in their daily lives. The summit is designed to inspire meaningful conversations and positive impact throughout the County.

99.3 County FM 12th Annual Radiothon
Date(s): June 4–7, 2026
Location: PEC, Ontario (broadcast by 99.3 County FM)
Tickets: Free to participate; donations encouraged.
Description: Join 99.3 County FM for its 12th annual Radiothon, a four-day fundraising event supporting the County’s non-profit, volunteer-driven community radio station. The 2026 campaign aims to raise $77,000 to help bridge the station’s funding gap. Throughout the event, listeners can enjoy live local music, special programming, and community announcements. This year’s Radiothon celebrates the County’s agricultural community and is led by honorary chair Jane Thompson in recognition of her dedication and community service.
15th Annual Hike for Hospice
Date(s): June 6, 2026, 10:00 AM–1:00 PM

Description: Join Hospice Prince Edward for the 15th Annual Hike for Hospice, a community fundraising event supporting compassionate end-of-life care and grief support services across the County. Participants can enjoy a walk through the historic Macaulay House grounds, tours of the museum, outdoor games, warm cider provided by volunteers, and a community BBQ following the hike. Funds raised support palliative care services, in-home volunteer support, grief and bereavement programs, and caregiver training, all provided at no cost to community members. Individuals, families, and teams are welcome to participate.
Bloomfield Wellness Ride Series

Description: Bike the County and Bloomfield Wellness Club are teaming up to offer free monthly road and gravel rides for cyclists of all abilities. Each ride is approximately one hour long, with all speeds welcome. Riders should bring a helmet and bicycle; e-bikes, recumbents, and bike trailers are welcome. Rides begin and end at the Bloomfield Wellness Club and are followed by a social gathering, including post-ride coffee and, when available, post-ride beer. A great opportunity to get outdoors, meet new people, and stay active throughout the riding season.
MLP Residence Seniors Fair

Description: Celebrate Senior’s Month at the MLP Residence Seniors Fair, a free outdoor community event bringing together residents, families, and members of the the County community. The afternoon will feature live music, a BBQ, raffle prizes, and opportunities to connect with local services, resources, and businesses that support seniors and healthy aging. Attendees can enjoy a welcoming and engaging atmosphere while learning more about programs and supports available across the County. Local dignitaries are also expected to attend, making this a lively and meaningful community gathering.
With so many opportunities throughout June, locals can look forward to a month rich in connection, creativity, and shared experiences. Whether attending a workshop, visiting a market, or taking part in community events, there’s something happening for everyone to enjoy right in their own backyard.
