Visitors will find a mix of experiences happening across the County, from local markets and food events to live performances and outdoor activities. Whether you are planning a quiet escape or a weekend filled with things to do, this list will help you find what is happening and where to go.


Prince Edward County Yoga Retreat 

Date(s): May 1–3, 2026 

Location: Prince Edward County, Ontario (peaceful retreat setting with onsite yoga studio)

  • King Room (up to 2 people): $1,700

  • Queen Room (up to 2 people): $1,598

  • Shared Room (per person, twin beds): $675 Deposit: 50% required to secure booking (fully refundable up to 60 days before event)


Description: A 3-day immersive wellness retreat designed for restoration, reconnection, and uninterrupted yoga practice. Guests enjoy a curated experience featuring at least 6 guided yoga sessions, 2 nights of accommodation, and 6 nourishing meals plus snacks. The retreat is set in a tranquil environment intended to support rest and renewal, with a focus on slowing down and deepening personal wellbeing.


Spring Birding Festival 2026 

Date(s): May 8–10, 2026 

Location: Prince Edward Point, Prince Edward County, Ontario

Description: A three-day spring migration celebration focused on birds, nature, and community connection at peak migration time. The festival welcomes birders and nature enthusiasts of all ages, abilities, and experience levels, with an emphasis on inclusivity and accessibility. Activities include expertly guided bird walks, bird-banding demonstrations, drop-in educational talks, and interactive family-friendly programming. A dedicated youth day, supported by the Alva Foundation, brings local students to the site to learn about bird research and habitat conservation. The weekend also features a special Mother’s Day walk, live food service on-site, and opportunities to explore bird-friendly merchandise.


County: The Way Home

Date(s): May 8–June 17, 2026 

Location: County Arts Lab, Unit 2E, 206 Main Street, Picton, Ontario

Description: County: The Way Home showcases the work of Julie Seddon, exploring two key aspects of her artistic process. The exhibition features photographs capturing moments where the natural and built environments meet through reflections on glass, alongside painted interpretations that further abstract and express these scenes. By revealing this process, the exhibit invites viewers to see everyday window reflections in a new, more layered and mysterious way. An opening reception will be held on May 8 from 6–8 PM.


TMFF Motorcycle Film Festival

Description: The TMFF Motorcycle Film Festival makes its Prince Edward County debut with a special one-night screening hosted by Moto Craft. This curated showcase features five award-winning and audience-favourite motorcycle films from around the world. The lineup highlights a range of stories—from desert adventures and racing history to craftsmanship, resilience, and the culture of life on two wheels. The evening runs from 7:30 PM to 10:45 PM and includes a short intermission, offering a unique cinematic experience for riders and non-riders alike.


Dogs Do Magic 

Date(s): May 17, 2026

Description: A fun-filled, family-friendly live show combining magic, comedy, and incredible canine tricks. Starring Canadian magician Aaron Matthews—known for appearances on Disney Plus, YTV, the Calgary Stampede, and Canada’s Got Talent—this one-show-only performance promises an entertaining afternoon for all ages. Expect mind-blowing illusions, laugh-out-loud moments, and impressive performances from talented dogs.
