Insurance for STA Owners: What Typical Policies Don’t Cover

Insurance is one of those things most short term accommodation owners assume they have handled. A homeowners policy is in place, maybe a landlord policy if the property is rented, and the booking platform offers some level of protection. On paper, it feels covered. In reality, many STA owners are carrying insurance gaps they do not realize exist until something goes wrong.
