Watermain Repair Scheduled Along Loyalist Parkway in Carrying Place

The County of Prince Edward’s Water and Wastewater Department has announced planned repair work to address a watermain leak along Highway 33 (Loyalist Parkway) in Carrying Place.
The maintenance is set to take place on Friday, March 24, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and is expected to conclude by 6:00 p.m. the same day. The work area will be located between Smokes Point Road and County Road 19.
While full lane closures are not anticipated, motorists may encounter traffic control measures in the area. Drivers are advised to proceed with caution and obey all posted signs and directions from traffic personnel.
During the repair period, residents along this section of Loyalist Parkway should expect temporary water service interruptions, possible changes in water pressure, and discolouration of water. Once the repairs are completed, customers experiencing coloured water are advised to flush their plumbing by running cold water from the tap closest to the water meter.
