Residents and trail users are advised of temporary disruptions along a section of the Millennium Trail due to urgent utility maintenance work scheduled for this week.

The affected stretch runs between Benway Road and Danforth Road, where Hydro One crews will be carrying out emergency infrastructure repairs.

Work is set to begin at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13, and is expected to continue through Friday, March 10.

According to officials, the project involves retrieving a fallen electrical insulator and replacing damaged hydro poles located near the trail corridor. While the trail will remain accessible, users may experience minor delays and should be prepared for intermittent work activity in the area.

Trail users are encouraged to use caution, remain alert, and follow all instructions provided by on-site Hydro One personnel to ensure everyone’s safety during the maintenance period.
