Weekend on Wheels Date: Friday to Sunday, September 25 to 27, 2026 Location: Lake on the Mountain, Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada (rides depart from here to scenic routes including Sandbanks Provincial Park and local bakeries/markets) Tickets: Register and see pricing/options Description: A two-night, two-day guided road cycling adventure through Prince Edward County covering 100+ km total. Bystander Intervention: Standing Strong for Our Neighbours Date: Wednesday, September 16, 2026 Location: Prince Edward Community Centre, 375 Picton Main Street, Prince Edward, ON K0K 2T0, Canada Tickets: Register on Eventbrite Description: A free, interactive workshop teaching practical skills to safely intervene when witnessing harassment, discrimination, or harmful behaviour in public spaces. Participants learn evidence-based bystander strategies, de-escalation techniques, and how to support targets of racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of bias. Designed for community members of all backgrounds who want to move from passive witness to confident upstander and help build a safer, more inclusive neighbourhood. Pitch-In Picton Date: Thursday, September 24, 2026, 5:00 p.m. Location: Meet outside the County of Prince Edward Public Library & Archives (Picton branch), then walk 1–2 km from Picton Bay around the harbour up to the Crystal Palace, Prince Edward County, ON Tickets: Free (no registration required) Description: A community clean-up “mini trash-bash” that doubles as a nature walk and local history stroll, hosted by Feral Folc and the Picton BIA. Participants pick up litter along sidewalks, alleys, parking lots, and sometimes parks (1–2 km route). Gloves, bags, sanitizer, snacks, and proper disposal are provided; participants can earn a local gift certificate.
