PEC Chamber of Commerce Summer Social 2026

Art in the County 2026

Description: Art in the County is a long-running juried exhibition showcasing high-quality works by Prince Edward County artists and artisans. Presented by the Prince Edward County Arts Council, the show features over 100 pieces across various media including painting, sculpture, textiles, photography, ceramics, glass, and more. Portal to the Cosmos

Description: Step into the “Portal to the Cosmos,” a fun and interactive art installation in Bloomfield where visitors can sit inside, take photos, and share their experience online. Located in front of the Bloomfield Public Library, this installation runs throughout the summer. Visitors can also explore hands-on workshops at Rhonda Nolan Art Gallery, including papier-mâché sculpture building and creative sessions like “Textures of Mother Earth.”

Description: Join a welcoming and informal figure drawing session at the Wellington Library, open to beginners, students, and experienced artists. Sessions feature short gesture poses followed by longer poses with an undraped model. Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials and enjoy a supportive, creative environment. Description: Spend a relaxed afternoon with writer Larry Tayler during his summer residency at Macaulay House. Visitors are welcome to drop by, chat, or bring their own writing to work on in a creative and welcoming space while he continues work on his novel set in Picton.

Description: A lively weekly outdoor concert series presented by the PEC Lions and sponsors, featuring a rotating lineup of local and visiting musicians throughout the summer. Now well underway with multiple successful shows already completed, the series continues to bring together residents and visitors for evenings filled with live music, dancing, and community connection. Each event offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere in the park, encouraging attendees to bring lawn chairs, enjoy classic BBQ hotdogs, and spend a summer evening outdoors surrounded by great music and friendly faces.


Sips, Stretches & Sunshine – Vineyard View Yoga

Description: A guided educational nature walk led by the Quinte Field Naturalists Tree Committee and guest host Rowland Cave-Browne-Cave. Participants explore Belleville’s urban canopy while learning practical tree identification skills, including native and invasive species recognition. The walk also highlights urban arboriculture practices such as proper pruning techniques and offers insight into local forest health and common tree diseases. Description: A laid-back monthly community gathering built around bikes, music, and connection, hosted at Agrarian Market in Picton. This inclusive, all-ages event invites everyone, riders and non-riders alike, to come together for an evening of good vibes, conversation, and shared space.
