Feb 25, 2024

Drivers traveling along County Road 22 should prepare for ongoing construction activity and possible traffic slowdowns throughout much of the year. Work is scheduled to begin Monday, February 26, along the stretch between London Avenue and Airport Lane near Picton Heights.

The project involves the installation of new water and sanitary services, an essential infrastructure upgrade for the area. While most construction will take place along the road shoulder, motorists may encounter single-lane closures, reduced speeds, and intermittent delays.

Construction is expected to continue until November 30, 2024. Residents and commuters are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time when using this route.
