Picton Night Market to Bring Temporary Road Closures on November 15

Date: November 11, 2025

Motorists travelling through Picton should plan for temporary traffic changes on Saturday, November 15, as road closures will be in effect to accommodate the Picton Night Market.

During the event, Picton Main Street will be closed to through traffic between Walton Street and Bridge Street from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The intersection at Picton’s town hill will remain open, allowing continued access through that area.

Detour Routes in Place

Drivers heading northbound will be directed from Walton Street to King Street, using Paul Street to reconnect with Picton Main Street. An alternate route will guide traffic from Mary Street to East Mary Street, ending at Bridge Street.

For southbound traffic, detours will route vehicles from Paul Street to King Street, then along Walton Street back to Picton Main Street. Another option directs traffic from Bridge Street through East Mary Street to Mary Street.

Plan Ahead

Residents and visitors are encouraged to allow extra travel time and follow posted signage during the event. Those attending the Picton Night Market are advised to consider alternative routes or parking options nearby.
