Traffic Delays Expected on Picton Main Street Friday

Motorists and pedestrians travelling through Picton Main Street should plan for potential delays on Friday, December 15, as construction activity is scheduled between Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital and 445 County Road 49 (near the former beer store).

The work, being carried out by CCR Environmental, involves vertical drilling along the roadside and is expected to take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Temporary traffic control measures may be implemented as needed to manage vehicle and pedestrian movement.

Residents are encouraged to avoid the area during construction hours and use alternate routes whenever possible. Construction equipment will be positioned along the shoulder of Picton Main Street.
